Slovakia, the UK, the Czech Republic, Germany, Austria, Belarus, Italy, Belgium and Ireland lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further X%.

Among the main exporting countries, the UK, with a CAGR of X%, recorded the highest growth rate of the value of exports, over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Export Prices by Country

In 2023, the export price in Europe amounted to $X,019 per unit, with a decrease of X% against the previous year. In general, the export price saw a noticeable curtailment. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 an increase of X%. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $X,830 per unit. From 2022 to 2023, the export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Austria ($X,576 per unit), while Ireland ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.

In value terms, self-propelled railway coach imports expanded markedly to $X in 2023. Overall, imports, however, saw a mild downturn. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 when imports increased by X%.
