China (X tons), Uruguay (X tons), France (X tons) and Spain (X tons) took a relatively small share of total exports.
From 2012 to 2021, average annual rates of growth with regard to chlorates, bromates and iodates exports from Canada stood at -3.8%. At the same time, Spain (+39.4%), France (+34.5%), the United States (+5.1%) and Uruguay (+2.6%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Spain emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in the world, with a CAGR of +39.4% from 2012-2021. From 2012 to 2021, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value in Canada totaled -6.0%. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: France (+20.4% per year) and China (-11.5% per year).
Export Prices by Country
In 2021, the average chlorates, bromates and iodates export price amounted to $X per ton, picking up by 2.8% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 when the average export price increased by 8.9%. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs in 2021 and is likely to continue growth in the near future.
Prices varied noticeably country of origin: the country with the highest price was France ($X per ton), while Finland ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
