Over the period under review, the exports hit record highs at $X in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2021, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

The total import volume increased at an average annual rate of +1.3% over the period from 2012 to 2021; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Imports peaked at X tons in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2021, imports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, marble granules and powder imports soared to $X in 2021. Overall, imports showed a relatively flat trend pattern. Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum at $X in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2021, imports failed to regain momentum.
