Canary Seed Market Size in Hungary

In value terms, canary seed exports fell to $X in 2019. In general, exports continue to indicate a perceptible descent. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2012 with an increase of X% y-o-y. Over the period under review, exports reached the maximum at $X in 2008; however, from 2009 to 2019, exports remained at a lower figure.

Exports by Country

Italy (X tonnes) was the main destination for canary seed exports from Hungary, accounting for a X% share of total exports. Moreover, canary seed exports to Italy exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Poland (X tonnes), fourfold. Russia (X tonnes) ranked third in terms of total exports with a X% share.

Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at X tonnes in 2010; however, from 2011 to 2019, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, canary seed imports contracted remarkably to $X in 2019. Over the period under review, imports faced a abrupt shrinkage.
