In 2022, after two years of growth, there was significant decline in production of citrus fruits not elsewhere classified, when its volume decreased by -5.7% to 464K tons. The total output volume increased at an average annual rate of +2.2% from 2017 to 2022; the trend pattern remained relatively stable, with somewhat noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when the production volume increased by 13% against the previous year. As a result, production reached the peak volume of 492K tons, and then reduced in the following year. As a result, the harvested area reached the peak level of 43K ha, and then shrank modestly in the following year.

In 2022, the average citrus fruits not elsewhere classified yield in Angola declined to 11 tons per ha, remaining relatively unchanged against the previous year's figure. Overall, the yield, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 with an increase of 3% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the average citrus fruits not elsewhere classified yield attained the maximum level at 11 tons per ha in 2021, and then contracted slightly in the following year.
