The average import price for non-citrus fruits not elsewhere classified stood at $3,500 per ton in 2022, with an increase of 56% against the previous year. Overall, import price indicated a moderate increase from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +2.0% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. In general, the export price, however, enjoyed a slight expansion. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 when the average export price increased by 220% against the previous year. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $10,680 per ton, and then contracted rapidly in the following year.

As there is only one major export destination, the average price level is determined by prices for the UK.

From 2012 to 2022, the rate of growth in terms of prices for the Netherlands amounted to +29.7% per year.

In 2022, after three years of growth, there was significant decline in supplies from abroad of non-citrus fruits not elsewhere classified, when their volume decreased by -28.3% to 40 tons. Overall, imports, however, posted a significant increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 with an increase of 169%. As a result, imports attained the peak of 56 tons, and then reduced notably in the following year.

In value terms, non-citrus fruits not elsewhere classified imports stood at $141K in 2022. In general, imports, however, posted a significant increase. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 when imports increased by 182% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in years to come.
