Price for Non-Citrus Fruits Not Elsewhere Classified in Chile (FOB) - 2023
The average export price for non-citrus fruits not elsewhere classified stood at $4,759 per ton in August 2023, growing by 2.4% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in July 2023 an increase of 124% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs at $8,376 per ton in February 2023; however, from March 2023 to August 2023, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
Average prices varied noticeably for the major export markets. In August 2023, the country with the highest price was the United States ($4,759 per ton), while the average price for exports to the UK amounted to $4,752 per ton.
From August 2022 to August 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the UK (+56.9%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.

In 2022, the average import price for non-citrus fruits not elsewhere classified amounted to $7,589 per ton, rising by 71% against the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2018 an increase of 404%. The import price peaked at $20,864 per ton in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

For the third year in a row, Chile recorded decline in overseas shipments of non-citrus fruits not elsewhere classified, which decreased by -21.5% to 3.1K tons in 2022. Overall, exports faced a deep slump. The smallest decline of -2.8% was in 2020.
In value terms, non-citrus fruits not elsewhere classified exports contracted remarkably to $11M in 2022. Over the period under review, exports saw a abrupt decline.
