In 2022, the average fruit, edible; durians, fresh import price amounted to $7,298 per ton, jumping by 21% against the previous year. Overall, import price indicated a remarkable increase from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +5.4% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, fruit, edible; durians, fresh import price increased by +72.2% against 2019 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 when the average import price increased by 57%. The import price peaked at $7,604 per ton in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Thailand ($8,745 per ton), while the price for Vietnam amounted to $3,496 per ton.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Thailand (+6.9%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.

In 2022, after three years of growth, there was significant decline in supplies from abroad of fruit, edible; durians, freshes, when their volume decreased by -74% to 517 kg. Over the period under review, imports recorded a drastic downturn. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2020 when imports increased by 83%.
In value terms, fruit, edible; durians, fresh imports dropped sharply to $3.8K in 2022. In general, imports, however, showed prominent growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 when imports increased by 187%.
