Dry Bean Price in Russia (CIF) - 2022
In 2022, the average dry bean import price amounted to $899 per ton, reducing by -19.3% against the previous year. In general, the import price showed a slight curtailment. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 an increase of 17%. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the peak figure at $1,192 per ton in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was China ($1,544 per ton), while the price for Ethiopia ($717 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Kazakhstan (+6.4%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Dry Bean Price in Russia (FOB) - 2022
The average dry bean export price stood at $1,334 per ton in January 2022, standing approximately at the previous month. Over the period from January 2021 to January 2022, it increased at an average monthly rate of +2.1%. The growth pace was the most rapid in November 2021 an increase of 50% m-o-m. The export price peaked at $1,465 per ton in April 2021; however, from May 2021 to January 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.

Over the period under review, imports continue to indicate a abrupt decline. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 when imports increased by 1% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of 27K tons. From 2021 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, dry bean imports dropped dramatically to $20M in 2022. Overall, imports showed a abrupt decline. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 when imports increased by 12% against the previous year.
