Cow Peas Price in Tunisia (CIF) - 2022

In December 2022, the average cow peas import price amounted to $794 per ton, remaining stable against the previous month. In general, the import price, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in July 2022 an increase of 3% against the previous month. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $821 per ton. From August 2022 to December 2022, the average import prices remained at a lower figure.

As there is only one major supplying country, the average price level is determined by prices for Egypt.

From December 2021 to December 2022, the rate of growth in terms of prices for Egypt amounted to -0.0% per month.

Cow Peas Price in Tunisia (FOB) - 2022

The average cow peas export price stood at $2,522 per ton in 2022, growing by 3.7% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price saw buoyant growth. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2017 when the average export price increased by 1,021% against the previous year. The export price peaked in 2022 and is likely to see gradual growth in the immediate term.

As there is only one major export destination, the average price level is determined by prices for Iceland.

From 2012 to 2022, the rate of growth in terms of prices for Senegal amounted to +1.4% per year.
