Clementines Price in Poland (CIF) - 2023

In June 2023, the average clementines import price amounted to $2,195 per ton, which is down by -2.1% against the previous month. Over the period under review, import price indicated a buoyant expansion from June 2022 to June 2023: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +6.0% over the last twelve months. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on June 2023 figures, clementines import price increased by +93.9% against November 2022 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in July 2022 when the average import price increased by 68% against the previous month. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the maximum at $2,242 per ton in May 2023, and then fell in the following month.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Spain ($2,753 per ton), while the price for France ($1,309 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the Netherlands (+11.9%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major external markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was the Netherlands ($1,521 per ton), while the average price for exports to Lithuania ($447 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
