Over the period under review, global exports reached the peak figure at $X in 2011; however, from 2012 to 2020, exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

China (X tonnes), Norway (X tonnes), the Netherlands (X tonnes), Russia (X tonnes), Brazil (X tonnes), Malaysia (X tonnes), France (X tonnes), Iceland (X tonnes), Poland (X tonnes) and Germany (X tonnes) represented roughly X% of total exports of ferro-silicon in 2020. The following exporters - Kazakhstan (X tonnes), Canada (X tonnes) and South Africa (X tonnes) - each finished at a X% share of total exports.

From 2007 to 2020, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main exporting countries, was attained by Malaysia, while exports for the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The growth pace was the most rapid in 2008 when the average export price increased by X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, average export prices hit record highs at $X per tonne in 2011; however, from 2012 to 2020, export prices failed to regain the momentum.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin; the country with the highest price was Canada ($X per tonne), while France ($X per tonne) was amongst the lowest.

From 2007 to 2020, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Canada, while the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
