Sour Cherry Market Size in France

In 2019, after two years of growth, there was decline in the French sour cherry market, when its value decreased by -X% to $X. Overall, consumption, however, enjoyed significant growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 when exports increased by X% year-to-year. Over the period under review, exports attained the maximum at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2019, exports remained at a lower figure.

The UK (X tonnes), Germany (X tonnes) and Spain (X tonnes) were the main destinations of sour cherry exports from France, together comprising X% of total exports. The Netherlands, Italy, the Czech Republic and Luxembourg lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further X 2012 to 2019, the biggest increases were in the Czech Republic (+X% per year), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, the largest markets for sour cherry exported from France were the UK ($X), Spain ($X) and Germany ($X), with a combined X% share of total exports.
