As a result, the exports attained the peak of $X. From 2015 to 2023, the growth of the exports remained at a lower figure.

Exports by Country

The Czech Republic represented the largest exporter of shelled hazelnuts in Eastern Europe, with the volume of exports accounting for X tons, which was near X% of total exports in 2023. It was distantly followed by Belarus (X tons), Lithuania (X tons), Slovakia (X tons), Latvia (X tons), Poland (X tons) and Bulgaria (X tons), together comprising a X% share of total exports.

From 2012 to 2023, average annual rates of growth with regard to shelled hazelnut exports from the Czech Republic stood at X%. At the same time, Bulgaria (X%), Belarus (X%) and Latvia (X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Bulgaria emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in Eastern Europe, with a CAGR of X% from 2012-2023. Poland and Lithuania experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum at X tons in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2023, imports failed to regain momentum.
