Hungary (X tons) was the main destination for shelled hazelnut exports from Romania, accounting for a 78% share of total exports. From 2012 to 2021, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value from Hungary stood at +5.5%. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Italy (+26.7% per year) and Turkey (+7.2% per year).
