In 2019, India (X tons), distantly followed by the U.S. (X tons), Turkey (X tons), Italy (X tons) and China (X tons) represented the key exporters of bentonite, together comprising X% of total exports. Slovakia (X tons), Azerbaijan (X tons), the Czech Republic (X tons), the Netherlands (X tons), Germany (X tons) and Greece (X tons) followed a long way behind the leaders.
From 2007 to 2019, the biggest increases were in Greece, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, the U.S. ($X), Turkey ($X) and India ($X) were the countries with the highest levels of exports in 2019, together comprising X% of total exports.
In terms of the main exporting countries, Turkey saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The bentonite export price in Australia stood at $X per ton in 2019, which is down by -X% against the previous year. In general, the export price, however, saw a mild increase.
