After three years of decline, production of citrus fruits not elsewhere classified increased by 3.3% to 21K tons in 2022. Overall, production, however, recorded a pronounced contraction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 when the production volume increased by 33% against the previous year. As a result, production reached the peak volume of 33K tons. From 2019 to 2022, production growth remained at a somewhat lower figure. Citrus fruits not elsewhere classified output in the United States indicated a perceptible reduction, which was largely conditioned by a noticeable slump of the harvested area and a relatively flat trend pattern in yield figures.
In value terms, citrus fruits not elsewhere classified production fell modestly to $32M in 2022. In general, production, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 with an increase of 60%. As a result, production attained the peak level of $53M. From 2019 to 2022, production growth remained at a lower figure.

As a result, the harvested area reached the peak level of 1.6K ha. From 2019 to 2022, the growth of the citrus fruits not elsewhere classified harvested area remained at a somewhat lower figure.

The average yield of citrus fruits not elsewhere classified in the United States amounted to 21 tons per ha in 2022, remaining constant against 2021.
