The average import price for spices; cinnamon (cinnamomum zeylanicum blume), neither crushed nor ground stood at $1,472 per ton in January 2024, declining by -48.2% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price recorded a slight reduction. The growth pace was the most rapid in April 2023 when the average import price increased by 272% against the previous month. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $5,785 per ton. From May 2023 to January 2024, the average import prices remained at a lower figure.
