The average export price for dates, figs, pineapples, avocados, guavas, mangoes and mangosteens; fresh or drieds stood at $1,653 per ton in November 2023, picking up by 17% against the previous month. Over the period under review, export price indicated a tangible expansion from November 2022 to November 2023: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +3.4% over the last twelve-month period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on November 2023 figures, export price for dates, figs, pineapples, avocados, guavas, mangoes and mangosteens; fresh or drieds increased by +17.2% against October 2023 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in March 2023 an increase of 46% month-to-month. The export price peaked at $1,823 per ton in April 2023; however, from May 2023 to November 2023, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major external markets. In November 2023, the country with the highest price was the United States ($9,112 per ton), while the average price for exports to Myanmar ($465 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From November 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Vietnam (+3.7%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

In November 2023, the average import price for dates, figs, pineapples, avocados, guavas, mangoes and mangosteens; fresh or drieds amounted to $358 per ton, falling by -45.8% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in July 2023 an increase of 160% m-o-m. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the maximum at $2,244 per ton in August 2023; however, from September 2023 to November 2023, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In November 2023, the country with the highest price was New Zealand ($5,353 per ton), while the price for Cambodia ($156 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From November 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Cambodia (+3.1%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.

In 2022, shipments abroad of dates, figs, pineapples, avocados, guavas, mangoes and mangosteens; fresh or drieds decreased by -6% to 372K tons, falling for the second year in a row after two years of growth. Over the period under review, exports continue to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 with an increase of 5.1% against the previous year. As a result, the exports attained the peak of 402K tons. From 2021 to 2022, the growth of the exports of remained at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, exports of dates, figs, pineapples, avocados, guavas, mangoes and mangosteens; fresh or drieds contracted dramatically to $546M in 2022. In general, exports saw a abrupt setback. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 with an increase of 17% against the previous year. As a result, the exports reached the peak of $677M, and then fell notably in the following year.
