In December 2023, the average export price for carbides; of calcium, whether or not chemically defineds amounted to $601 per ton, falling by -3.3% against the previous month. From December 2022 to December 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Turkey (-0.9%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.

The import price peaked at $184,786 per ton in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
