Carbides Exports By Country
In 2016, China (X tonnes) represented the key exporter for carbides, constituting X% of total exports. The Netherlands (X tonnes) held a X% share (based on tonnes) of global carbides exports, which put it in second place, following Slovakia (X%), and South Africa (X%). The U.S. (X tonnes), Germany (X tonnes), Norway (X tonnes), Brazil (X tonnes), Belgium (X tonnes), Austria (X tonnes), Sweden (X tonnes), and Bhutan (X tonnes) followed a long way behind this figure.

In value terms, China ($X) remains the largest carbides supplier in the world, making up X% of global exports. The second position in the ranking was occupied by Austria ($X), with the share of X% of global exports. It was followed by Norway, with the share of X%.
From 2007 to 2016, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value of carbides exports in China expanded at +X%. The remaining exporting countries recorded the following average annual rates: Austria (+X% per year) and Norway (-X% per year).
Carbides Export Prices By Country
The average carbides export price stood at $X per tonne in 2016, dropping by -X% against the previous year. In general, carbides export price continues to indicate a slight contraction. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2010, an increase of X% y-o-y. Global carbides export peaked of $X per tonne in 2011; however, from 2012 to 2016, it failed to regain its strength.
There were significant differences in the average export prices amongst major exporting countries. In 2016, the country with the highest export prices was Austria ($X per tonne), while Slovakia ($X per tonne) was among the lowest.
