The average export price for cabbages, cauliflowers, kohlrabi, kale and similar edible brassicas; fresh or chilleds stood at $604 per ton in November 2023, declining by -3.4% against the previous month. In general, the export price, however, posted a measured expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in October 2023 when the average export price increased by 207% m-o-m. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $625 per ton, and then contracted modestly in the following month.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In November 2023, the country with the highest price was Russia ($833 per ton), while the average price for exports to Kyrgyzstan ($169 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From November 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Kyrgyzstan (-2.3%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.

In 2022, the average import price for cabbages, cauliflowers, kohlrabi, kale and similar edible brassicas; fresh or chilleds amounted to $589 per ton, reducing by -36.7% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, recorded a strong increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when the average import price increased by 119%. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $930 per ton, and then shrank sharply in the following year.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Ukraine ($1,100 per ton), while the price for Kazakhstan amounted to $120 per ton.
From 2016 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Russia (-7.5%).

In 2022, shipments abroad of cabbages, cauliflowers, kohlrabi, kale and similar edible brassicas; fresh or chilleds was finally on the rise to reach 148K tons for the first time since 2019, thus ending a two-year declining trend. In general, exports, however, saw a perceptible reduction.
In value terms, exports of cabbages, cauliflowers, kohlrabi, kale and similar edible brassicas; fresh or chilleds skyrocketed to $40M in 2022. Overall, exports saw a tangible expansion. As a result, the exports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
