Cabbage Market Size in Uzbekistan

Over the period under review, exports attained the peak figure at X tonnes in 2019, and then fell sharply in the following year.

In value terms, cabbage exports shrank rapidly to $X in 2020. Overall, exports, however, continue to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2009 with an increase of X% year-to-year. Exports peaked at $X in 2011; however, from 2012 to 2020, exports failed to regain the momentum.

Kazakhstan (X tonnes), Russia (X tonnes) and Belarus (X tonnes) were the main destinations of cabbage exports from Uzbekistan, with a combined X% share of total exports. Kyrgyzstan and Ukraine lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further X 2007 to 2020, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by Kyrgyzstan, while exports for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The growth pace was the most rapid in 2019 an increase of X% year-to-year. Over the period under review, average export prices hit record highs at $X per tonne in 2007; however, from 2008 to 2020, export prices failed to regain the momentum.

Average prices varied somewhat for the major overseas markets. In 2020, the highest prices were recorded for prices to Russia ($X per tonne) and Ukraine ($X per tonne), while the average price for exports to Kazakhstan ($X per tonne) and Kyrgyzstan ($X per tonne) were amongst the lowest.
