Peach and Nectarine Price in France (CIF) - 2023
In August 2023, the average peach and nectarine import price amounted to $1,268 per ton, falling by -10.8% against the previous month. In general, the import price recorded a slight contraction. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in December 2022 when the average import price increased by 115% against the previous month. The import price peaked at $3,649 per ton in April 2023; however, from May 2023 to August 2023, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
As there is only one major supplying country, the average price level is determined by prices for Spain.
From August 2022 to August 2023, the rate of growth in terms of prices for Spain amounted to -1.9% per month.
Peach and Nectarine Price in France (FOB) - 2023
In August 2023, the average peach and nectarine export price amounted to $1,713 per ton, standing approximately at the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in December 2022 an increase of 329% against the previous month. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $4,885 per ton. From January 2023 to August 2023, the the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
