The total export value increased at an average annual rate of +X% over the period from 2012 to 2021; the trend pattern remained relatively stable, with only minor fluctuations throughout the analyzed period. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. The global exports peaked in 2021 and are likely to see steady growth in the immediate term.

In 2021, Spain (X tons) and Turkey (X tons) represented the main exporters of apricotsaround the world, together generating X% of total exports. In Germany, apricot imports remained relatively stable over the period from 2012-2021. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Russia (-X% per year) and France (+X% per year).
Import Prices by Country
In 2021, the average apricot import price amounted to $X per ton, increasing by X% against the previous year. Over the last nine years, it increased at an average annual rate of +X%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 an increase of X%. Global import price peaked at $X per ton in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2021, import prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major importing countries. In 2021, the country with the highest price was Switzerland ($X per ton), while Iraq ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
