The average millet import price stood at $550 per ton in 2022, growing by 15% against the previous year. In general, the import price recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs in 2022 and is likely to see gradual growth in the immediate term.

Millet Exports in Spain
In 2022, shipments abroad of millet decreased by -62.3% to 459 tons, falling for the second year in a row after two years of growth. Over the period under review, exports, however, saw a resilient increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 with an increase of 519%.
