Insulating Board Price in Belgium (CIF) - 2022
In 2022, the average insulating board import price amounted to $227 per cubic meter, reducing by -7.4% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price recorded a noticeable setback. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 when the average import price increased by 23% against the previous year. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs at $418 per cubic meter in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Ireland ($746 per cubic meter), while the price for the Netherlands ($115 per cubic meter) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Ireland (+5.5%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Insulating Board Price in Belgium (FOB) - 2022
The average insulating board export price stood at $427 per cubic meter in 2022, falling by -11.4% against the previous year. Over the period under review, export price indicated a moderate expansion from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +2.8% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Luxembourg (+7.5%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Insulating Board Imports in Belgium
For the fourth consecutive year, Belgium recorded growth in supplies from abroad of insulating board, which increased by 12% to 96K cubic meters in 2022.
