Currant and Gooseberry Price in Mexico (FOB) - 2022
In 2022, the average currant and gooseberry export price amounted to $11,556 per ton, shrinking by -3.7% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, enjoyed a strong expansion. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2016 an increase of 121%. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the peak figure at $11,998 per ton in 2021, and then shrank modestly in the following year.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Finland ($22,808 per ton), while the average price for exports to Spain ($1,609 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Oman (+97.1%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average currant and gooseberry import price stood at $3,281 per ton in 2022, flattening at the previous year. Overall, the import price recorded a abrupt setback.
