The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 with an increase of 18%. Over the period under review, imports reached the maximum at X tons in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

The total import value increased at an average annual rate of +4.6% from 2012 to 2021; the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded in certain years. Romania (X tons), Poland (X tons), Sweden (X tons), Greece (X tons) and Slovakia (X tons) held a little share of total imports.

From 2012 to 2021, average annual rates of growth with regard to complex fluorine salts imports into Russia stood at +10.6%. The import price in Europe stood at $X per ton in 2021, picking up by 9.4% against the previous year. Over the period from 2012 to 2021, it increased at an average annual rate of +1.9%. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2019 when the import price increased by 12% against the previous year. Over the period under review, import prices attained the maximum in 2021 and is likely to see gradual growth in years to come.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major importing countries. In 2021, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was the UK ($X per ton), while Romania ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
