For the third consecutive year, China recorded growth in overseas purchases of photo-copying apparatus, which increased by 25% to X units in 2022. Overall, imports, however, saw a abrupt curtailment. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2020 when imports increased by 59%. Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum at X units in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, photo-copying apparatus imports surged to $X in 2022. In general, imports, however, recorded a abrupt curtailment. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2018 with an increase of 52% against the previous year. Imports peaked at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In 2022, the Philippines (X units) constituted the largest photo-copying apparatus supplier to China, with a 20% share of total imports.
