The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 with an increase of 82% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of X units. From 2016 to 2021, the growth of global imports failed to regain momentum.

At the same time, the Philippines (+164.3%), Spain (+28.7%), the Netherlands (+20.5%), Mexico (+13.7%), Canada (+13.0%), Italy (+11.3%), the United Arab Emirates (+10.0%), India (+9.4%), Nigeria (+7.8%) and Hong Kong SAR (+1.4%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, the Philippines emerged as the fastest-growing importer imported in the world, with a CAGR of +164.3% from 2012-2021. The UK experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. By contrast, Singapore (-20.0%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. From 2012 to 2021, the share of the United States, the Philippines, the Netherlands, Nigeria, Canada, the UK, the United Arab Emirates, Mexico and Spain increased by +19, +7.4, +4.8, +4.7, +3.4, +2.5, +1.9, +1.8 and +1.7 percentage points, respectively. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
In value terms, the largest photo-copying apparatus importing markets worldwide were the United States ($X), India ($X) and Singapore ($X), with a combined 23% share of global imports. These countries were followed by the United Arab Emirates, Canada, the Netherlands, the Philippines, the UK, Spain, Italy, Hong Kong SAR, Mexico and Nigeria, which together accounted for a further 19%.
Among the main importing countries, the Netherlands, with a CAGR of +8.6%, saw the highest growth rate of the value of imports, over the period under review, while purchases for the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
Import Prices by Country
The average photo-copying apparatus import price stood at $X per unit in 2021, waning by -8.8% against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, posted temperate growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2016 when the average import price increased by 265% against the previous year. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $X per unit.
