Sleeping Bag Price in the Czech Republic (CIF) - 2022

The average sleeping bag import price stood at $26 per unit in 2022, growing by 3.9% against the previous year. Overall, import price indicated a pronounced expansion from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +4.7% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, sleeping bag import price increased by +47.5% against 2019 indices. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 an increase of 20%. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs in 2022 and is expected to retain growth in the near future.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Myanmar ($42 per unit), while the price for the Netherlands ($17 per unit) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Myanmar (+25.7%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

Sleeping Bag Price in the Czech Republic (FOB) - 2023

The average sleeping bag export price stood at $28.9 per unit in June 2023, reducing by -20.8% against the previous month. In general, the export price continues to indicate a mild shrinkage. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in January 2023 an increase of 27% against the previous month. The export price peaked at $47.1 per unit in November 2022; however, from December 2022 to June 2023, the export prices remained at a lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Finland ($147 per unit), while the average price for exports to Ukraine ($13.6 per unit) was amongst the lowest.

From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Finland (+13.0%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

Sleeping Bag Imports in the Czech Republic

In 2022, the amount of sleeping bags imported into the Czech Republic soared to 632K units, growing by 44% against the previous year's figure. Overall, total imports indicated a buoyant increase from 2019 to 2022: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +9.0% over the last three years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, imports increased by +68.2% against 2020 indices. As a result, imports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

In value terms, sleeping bag imports skyrocketed to $16M in 2022. In general, imports showed a significant expansion. As a result, imports reached the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

For the fourth consecutive year, the Czech Republic recorded growth in shipments abroad of sleeping bags, which increased by 34% to 251K units in 2022. Overall, total exports indicated buoyant growth from 2019 to 2022: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +13.5% over the last three-year period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, exports increased by +46.0% against 2019 indices. As a result, the exports reached the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

In value terms, sleeping bag exports surged to $8.5M in 2022. In general, total exports indicated significant growth from 2019 to 2022: its value increased at an average annual rate of +20.1% over the last three years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, exports increased by +73.1% against 2019 indices. As a result, the exports reached the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
