In September 2023, the average export price for vegetables; celery (other than celeriac), fresh or chilleds amounted to $794 per ton, shrinking by -2.1% against the previous month. Overall, the export price recorded a slight descent. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in April 2023 when the average export price increased by 37% against the previous month. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $1,380 per ton. From May 2023 to September 2023, the the average export prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Indonesia ($1,657 per ton), while the average price for exports to the United Arab Emirates ($597 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
