In November 2023, the average import price for petroleum resins, coumarone, indene or coumarone-indene resins and polyterpenes; in primary formses amounted to $1,468 per ton, approximately mirroring the previous month. In general, the import price, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in July 2023 when the average import price increased by 7.2% against the previous month. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $1,719 per ton. From August 2023 to November 2023, the average import prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Belgium ($3,584 per ton), while the price for Taiwan (Chinese) ($1,302 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From November 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Thailand (+2.0%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.

Overall, the export price, however, enjoyed measured growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in March 2023 when the average export price increased by 93% m-o-m. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the maximum at $1,926 per ton in September 2023; however, from October 2023 to November 2023, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major foreign markets. In November 2023, the country with the highest price was Thailand ($2,863 per ton), while the average price for exports to Nepal ($452 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From November 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Kenya (+9.9%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
