The average export price for heaters; instantaneous or storage water heaters, non-electric, other than gasses stood at $420 per unit in October 2023, growing by 5% against the previous month. Over the period from October 2022 to October 2023, it increased at an average monthly rate of +2.2%. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in April 2023 when the average export price increased by 8.6% month-to-month. The export price peaked at $423 per unit in July 2023; however, from August 2023 to October 2023, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major export markets. In October 2023, the country with the highest price was Belarus ($814 per unit), while the average price for exports to Uzbekistan ($231 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From October 2022 to October 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Slovakia (+3.6%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

In October 2023, the average import price for heaters; instantaneous or storage water heaters, non-electric, other than gasses amounted to $531 per unit, increasing by 25% against the previous month. Over the period under review, import price indicated a prominent expansion from October 2022 to October 2023: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +5.1% over the last twelve-month period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on October 2023 figures, import price for heaters; instantaneous or storage water heaters, non-electric, other than gasses increased by +31.4% against August 2023 indices. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in June 2023 an increase of 38% m-o-m. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the maximum at $594 per unit in July 2023; however, from August 2023 to October 2023, import prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In October 2023, the country with the highest price was the UK ($1,137 per unit), while the price for Turkey ($308 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From October 2022 to October 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by China (+7.7%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

For the fourth consecutive year, Poland recorded growth in overseas shipments of heaters; instantaneous or storage water heaters, non-electric, other than gasses, which increased by 12% to 456K units in 2022.
