Price for Grapes; Fresh or Dried in the Czech Republic (CIF) - 2023

The average grapes; fresh or dried import price stood at $1,887 per ton in August 2023, with a decrease of -23.8% against the previous month. Overall, the import price, however, saw measured growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in December 2022 an increase of 75% m-o-m. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $2,977 per ton. From January 2023 to August 2023, the average import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In August 2023, the country with the highest price was Italy ($2,102 per ton), while the price for Hungary ($531 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From August 2022 to August 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Italy (+3.2%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
