The average export price for nuts, edible; pistachios, fresh or dried, shelleds stood at $14,309 per ton in 2022, dropping by -2.4% against the previous year. Overall, export price indicated mild growth from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +1.3% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the highest price was recorded for prices to Uruguay ($16,195 per ton) and Brazil ($15,936 per ton), while the average price for exports to Italy ($13,074 per ton) and Spain ($14,402 per ton) were amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Russia (+71.3%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
