Overall, the import price continues to indicate a noticeable increase. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in February 2023 when the average import price increased by 159% against the previous month. The import price peaked at $11,324 per ton in March 2023; however, from April 2023 to November 2023, import prices failed to regain momentum.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In November 2023, the country with the highest price was Austria ($6,539 per ton), while the price for China ($2,604 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
