In September 2023, the average import price for nuts, edible; almonds, fresh or dried, shelleds amounted to $5,081 per ton, increasing by 4.8% against the previous month. In general, the import price recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in May 2023 when the average import price increased by 16% m-o-m. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $5,363 per ton. From June 2023 to September 2023, the average import prices remained at a lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In September 2023, the country with the highest price was Spain ($9,969 per ton), while the price for the United States amounted to $4,863 per ton.

From March 2023 to September 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Spain (+7.6%).
