Price for Non-Mineral or Non-Aerated Water in Turkey (FOB) - 2022
In 2022, the average non-mineral or non-aerated water export price amounted to $0.2 per litre, growing by 21% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the maximum at $0.2 per litre in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major export markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Libya ($0.4 per litre), while the average price for exports to Malta ($0.1 per litre) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Libya (+9.6%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the average non-mineral or non-aerated water import price amounted to $0.9 per litre, with an increase of 48% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price showed mild growth. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 when the average import price increased by 65%. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs at $0.9 per litre in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Greece ($3.5 per litre), while the price for Bulgaria ($0.1 per litre) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Japan (+78.5%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Exports of Non-Mineral or Non-Aerated Water in Turkey
In 2022, exports of non-mineral or non-aerated waters from Turkey fell slightly to 309M litres, waning by -3.2% compared with 2021. In general, exports continue to indicate a abrupt decrease. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when exports increased by 0.7% against the previous year.
