Bottled Water Imports By Country
China, Macao SAR (X tonnes) prevails in bottled water imports structure, finishing at X tonnes, which was near X% of total imports in 2016. The Netherlands (X tonnes), France (X tonnes), Poland (X tonnes), Kazakhstan (X tonnes), and Belgium (X tonnes) followed a long way behind this figure.
China, Macao SAR was also the fastest growing in terms of the bottled water imports, with a CAGR of +X% from 2007 to 2016. At the same time, Kazakhstan (+X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Poland, the Netherlands, and France experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. By contrast, Belgium (-X%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. China, Macao SAR (-X%) significantly weakened its position in terms of the global imports, while the shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
In value terms, Belgium ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported bottled water worldwide, making up X% of global imports. The second position in the ranking was occupied by the Netherlands ($X), with the share of X% of global imports. It was followed by France, with the share of X%.
From 2007 to 2016, the average annual growth rate of value of bottled water imports in Belgium expanded at +X%. The remaining importing countries recorded the following average annual rates: the Netherlands (-X% per year) and France (-X% per year).
Bottled Water Import Prices By Country
In 2016, the average import price for bottled water amounted to $X per tonne, stabilizing at the previous year level. In general, bottled water import price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2011, when import increased by X% year-to-year. Global bottled water import peaked of $X per tonne in 2007- afterwards, it flattened through to 2016.
Import prices varied noticeably by country of destination. the country with the highest import prices was Belgium ($X per tonne), while China, Macao SAR ($X per tonne) was among the lowest.
From 2007 to 2016, the most notable growth rate of bottled water import prices was attained by Kazakhstan (+X% per year), while the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
