In November 2023, the average export price for mushrooms and truffles, other than of the genus "agaricus" amounted to $3,040 per ton, declining by -64.7% against the previous month. In general, the export price continues to indicate a deep contraction. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in February 2023 when the average export price increased by 225% m-o-m. The export price peaked at $12,516 per ton in June 2023; however, from July 2023 to November 2023, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major external markets. In November 2023, the country with the highest price was Sweden ($20,714 per ton), while the average price for exports to Estonia ($1,921 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From November 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Sweden (+14.1%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the average import price for mushrooms and truffles, other than of the genus "agaricus" amounted to $3,059 per ton, falling by -58.3% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price continues to indicate a deep setback. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2018 an increase of 46%. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs at $7,336 per ton in 2021, and then declined sharply in the following year.

Over the period under review, exports continue to indicate a sharp decline. The smallest decline of -3.4% was in 2020.
In value terms, exports of mushrooms and truffles, other than of the genus "agaricus" contracted significantly to $3.2M in 2022. In general, exports recorded a significant curtailment. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2020 with an increase of 0.3%. As a result, the exports attained the peak of $38M. From 2021 to 2022, the growth of the exports of remained at a somewhat lower figure.
