In September 2023, the average import price for meat of bovine animals; frozen amounted to $5,987 per ton, surging by 4.5% against the previous month. Overall, the import price, however, saw a slight shrinkage. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in November 2022 an increase of 42% m-o-m. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $7,740 per ton. From December 2022 to September 2023, the average import prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Japan ($41,186 per ton), while the price for Argentina ($897 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From September 2022 to September 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the United States (+0.8%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.

The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period.
