The average import price for meat of bovine animals; fresh or chilled stood at $6,135 per ton in January 2024, rising by 31% against the previous month. In general, the import price, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. From January 2023 to January 2024, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Argentina (+3.2%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.
