In 2022, the average import price for glass fibres (including glass wool) and articles thereof (eg yarn, woven fabrics) amounted to $3,784 per ton, picking up by 3.6% against the previous year. In general, the import price saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 when the average import price increased by 18% against the previous year. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs at $3,877 per ton in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.
