The average export price for frozen domestic ducks, not cut in pieceses stood at $3,927 per ton in October 2023, approximately reflecting the previous month. Overall, the export price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in January 2023 when the average export price increased by 7.4% month-to-month. The export price peaked at $4,540 per ton in April 2023; however, from May 2023 to October 2023, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Average prices varied somewhat for the major external markets. In October 2023, the countries with the highest prices were Switzerland ($4,408 per ton) and the UK ($3,964 per ton), while the average price for exports to Japan ($3,492 per ton) and Ukraine ($3,504 per ton) were amongst the lowest.

From October 2022 to October 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Denmark (+2.8%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
