The average import price for cereals; millet, other than seeds stood at $1,439 per ton in 2022, falling by -18.7% against the previous year. From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Germany (+11.2%).

In 2022, overseas purchases of cereals; millet, other than seeds increased by 55% to 150 tons for the first time since 2019, thus ending a two-year declining trend. Over the period under review, imports, however, continue to indicate a abrupt contraction.
