The average cereals; grain sorghum, seed import price stood at $285 per ton in 2022, waning by -32.5% against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, enjoyed a remarkable increase. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2014 an increase of 95%. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the peak figure at $752 per ton in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
