In 2022, the average import price for cabbages, cauliflowers, kohlrabi, kale and similar edible brassicas; fresh or chilleds amounted to $1,547 per ton, rising by 7.4% against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, saw a slight slump. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 when the average import price increased by 53%. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs at $2,128 per ton in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.
Average prices varied somewhat amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was the United States ($1,593 per ton), while the price for China ($1,269 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by France (+7.4%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.

The average export price for cabbages, cauliflowers, kohlrabi, kale and similar edible brassicas; fresh or chilleds stood at $1,127 per ton in 2022, rising by 9.8% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, continues to indicate a perceptible shrinkage. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 when the average export price increased by 21%. The export price peaked at $4,766 per ton in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2022, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Kuwait ($1,495 per ton), while the average price for exports to Bahrain ($469 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2014 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Kuwait (+2.1%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.

In 2022, the amount of cabbages, cauliflowers, kohlrabi, kale and similar edible brassicas; fresh or chilleds imported into the Philippines reduced rapidly to 13 tons, with a decrease of -89.4% compared with 2021 figures. In general, imports faced a sharp slump. The smallest decline of -16.5% was in 2021.
In value terms, imports of cabbages, cauliflowers, kohlrabi, kale and similar edible brassicas; fresh or chilleds plummeted to $19K in 2022. Over the period under review, imports continue to indicate a dramatic setback. The smallest decline of -0.6% was in 2021.
