The average import price for cabbages, cauliflowers, kohlrabi, kale and similar edible brassicas; fresh or chilleds stood at $4,955 per ton in 2022, jumping by 618% against the previous year. Overall, the import price showed a prominent expansion. As a result, import price attained the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Spain ($16,101 per ton), while the price for Belgium ($531 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Spain (+82.1%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average export price for cabbages, cauliflowers, kohlrabi, kale and similar edible brassicas; fresh or chilleds stood at $1,669 per ton in 2022, declining by -55.8% against the previous year. In general, the export price continues to indicate a perceptible reduction. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2014 an increase of 35% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the peak figure at $3,772 per ton in 2021, and then declined dramatically in the following year.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major export markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Qatar ($3,097 per ton), while the average price for exports to Maldives ($1,422 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Canada (+24.7%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

In general, imports, however, recorded significant growth. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 with an increase of 4,958%.

Over the period under review, imports, however, enjoyed significant growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2020 with an increase of 4,797% against the previous year.
